We recently updated our park master plan map with leadership from Widseth.
In 2022 we completed a major revision to our Master Plan.
Wannigan Park was awarded recognition as a “regional” park by the State of Minnesota. This means we’re now eligible for state funding through grants, bonding and other incentives.

The Wannigan Park archeological study was completed on the west side of the park. We found two sites that suggest prehistoric artifacts. We are seeking guidance from Native American history and cultural leaders on how to proceed with these areas.
